As my teams grow and develop I find it harder and harder to keep track of who's who on the pitch. Remembering that #2 has Block Tackle Sure Hands while #14 only Block and so on just strains my hamster's attention span too much. And still there's the opponents team to think of, duhhh!

To help me keep track of all this I've developed a collection of player-specific icons, covering my key positionals. For example, some of my Pro Elves:




The thought train: and elf with Guard would wear more armour, a DP elf would look rather mean, and so on. Oh, even some female elves came into being:



Also, as an afterthought I noticed that some skills, like Block and Dodge are taken so often that they hardly deserve a unique icon. Instead I decided to use small markers added to original icons, like on this elf:


The yellow triangle represents Dodge, a red dot, or cross, could be block and so on.

The ideas might not be new, but since I haven't seem them posted I thought I'd share. This blog's ratings should be a good indicator wether publishing the rest of my ever-growing set is a good idea :)
