How many games will I lose to luck?
Dodging zombies into tackles without guard for no reason than to attempt to throw a turn 16 block rather than the opponent scoring to tie the game. Its just insane.
I played another game where three times a guy with no reroll available dodges out with a 3 agi guy goes for it twice to hit me and throws a one dice Pow, which was the only thing that could put the guy down. Not once or twice, but 3 times in the same game. I also have trouble picking up the ball on a 3+ all the time. Every team I play has a sure hands guy cause otherwise I'll spend 2-3 turns attempting to pick up the ball, burning my rerolls.
I won't get even started on the ko's and casualties. I just cant hurt anybody. No skilled elves, hobos, unskilled ummies. I just cant put anybody out with 2-3d blocks. Yet, I'll watch my boxes get filled up with guys that aren't being hit with Mighty Blow. I can keep people from scoring until the later turns on defense but I just cant get the luck needed to get the ball out and away for a score.
Overall, I don't learn anything from the games other than 1d blocks just flat own me.

How many will you lose to luck?!?.. Answer: All of them or none of them. If you choose to look at a game that luck is involved for both sides that every loss is attributed to luck, then every win is as well.
Don't tell me you have such a low opinion of yourself to say that every game you've won has been because the other guy got lucked over..! ;)

I'll go a different route and say I'm going through a similar spell myself. I know how it feels. It will turn around if you play enough games, and you'll get better rolls. But I know how frustrating it is to watch your opponent roll ridiculous numbers of successes, all at crucial moments, while you fail to pick up a ball on a 3+ even with a reroll, or roll 4 skulls in a row on a 2-die block with a reroll. It sucks. All I can say is keep plugging away and don't change your playstyle because of luck. Rather, review the games where you feel like you had victory stolen away and see if you could have done something different. That's what I'm doing.

Seriously tho ... u've got a win ratio of 47%, which is the same as what I've got and we've been on the site for roughly the same amount of time. Also, check out my stats - I'm down like over 200 on CAS! I'd love to have your CAS stats ... what's ur secret lucky boy? ;)

You already remember the nufflings you take more than the ones you dish out. Pay attention for the lucky games you have and learn to appreciate them, instead of blaming luck for your losses and skill for your wins.
For instance, I've had a great run the last week or so, with probably 2/3 of my games having unusually good luck in my favor. I've taken mirror matches at even TS and mopped the floor in cas dice. I've finished whole halves with hardly a reroll used.
But the other day my kroxigor died on a 1db block on T16 of a game I was about to win 4-0.
(damn unlucky week!)
