After ten matches with only one win, the owner of the club has called Ike on the carpet about his coaching or rather the absence of it.

While the stats for both teams have improved, the scoring is still abysmal as is the win-loss record - no surprise about that is there? The main difficulties are these: failing to follow a good plan when no reason exists to change - most recent example is passing to a blitzer instead of the planned pass to a catcher who was poised to run uppitch for a score supported by four other teammates; second, failing to execute the actions in a sensible order, despite previous counselling on this short-coming, Coach continues to let his "exuberance" as he calls it to cloud his judgement.

To make a long story short, Coach Ike has ten more games in which to prove that he is at least learning the art of coaching. Should he fail to do so, The Owner will seek a new coach for his club.

Well, that ought to improve the level of exertion, eh?, even if no improvement in results is noted.
