First Majors Ever!
So I decided to enter the Lustrian Cup on a whim. I was curious what these tournaments were like, and wanted to be in on the action. I decided to bring my human team themed after my favorite food, cheese. By "decide" of course I mean, "that was my only team with a high enough tv to enter." And only that because it had a pair too many useless rookie linemen. So what was my first majors game like, you ask?

BRUTAL!!!

His first turn took two of my men off the pitch. By the end of the first half, I had lost over half of them! I would expect that from Chaos or Orcs, but Dark Elves? I think the elves and humans traded armor! The injuries in the first half were KO's mostly, but he bared his knife and my players did not dare return to the pitch! The match wound up resulting in a pair of killings (my apothecary managed to save my thrower's life, at the cost of his strength) and a nasty back injury for my other thrower. So no throwers in my next match, which is ok, since I am also down to one inexperienced catcher anyway. At least Bleu managed to foul out his leap ball stripper, which earned him the MVP for the game. I actually lost 370 TV that game!

In other words, it was a blast!

My opponent's skill level was right were you'd expect it to be for a major tournament. I was proud to be able to keep it to 0-2, honestly! My only complaint might have been the frequent server outages, which happened...I dunno, 5 times? Lots of spectators, lots of laughs, and some hard played football. That is what fumbbl is all about! Looking forward to my next tournament, once I manage to get a team put back together...

Welcome to the big scene. Majors are where fumbbl shines most if you ask me.

What Qaz said. Its a lot cooler to take a shot in a major, even if its a long shot most of the time.
