Hey Everyone,

I've been super silent for sometime and i figured it would be good to at least leave with some explanation :) I've been on and off the site since 2006 and I can only thank Christer and the community for creating what is truly the best resource and site to play Bloodbowl out there!

Long story short, I ultimately fell into BB, video games and netflix etc when I was trying to escape reality. Sometimes it's healthy, but for someone as competitive and easily addicted as myself, it rarely was. I think quite a few members of the community talk about mental health and for me, bloodbowl and gaming in general kinda just became a coping method and a way to seek challenge I wasn't getting in real life.

Never say never and perhaps one day i'll get the itch. But certainly the last 7 months or so priorities have changed and i've given up my space for the UK TC and Eurobowl on top of this.

Parting Wisdom?

You are nothing without your mental health, take it seriously and be brutally honest with yourself.

BB Related (these transfer nicely into real life i feel)
*Always play with a positive mind-set, if you don't, better not to play at all
*Never blame the dice
*Never give up
*Try to take your emotions out of your decision making.
*Breath and be well hydrated
*Always keep some width and options on the pitch
*8 turns is a long time, you don't have to rush into the opponents half straight away
*Don't obsess over causalities, positioning wins games. If getting a push is considered a very bad result for your blitz, consider if this is even the right target in the first place.
