Khemri, Lizardmen
Righty.

As evidenced by my team history, I've recently retired teams in rapid order ever since coming back from my nigh four year hiatus. Excuse me if I'm rusty.

I tried Khemri first, as a new team to me.
At first they seem a very nice team, what with their four mummies and Throw-Ra to offset the lack of agility.
But once you hit a couple other bash teams who take out your skeletons, or heck, any ball team will do, if they do the same thing, and you're toast. And the skeletons WILL go down.
Man, the lack of mobility is abysmal. Anyone with Ag3 or more will run circles around the team.

Needless to say, even though I managed to win some of my games with somewhat relative ease - yes, it's easy if you get lucky and mangle the opposing team with your mummies/whatever - they were going to the bin. And so they did.

As a sidenote, it'd be nice to see being able to select the team you want to play with in the blackbox. I remain confident such a feature will come, along with tournaments and whatnots.

Now then, having retired my Khemri as lacking mobility and being somewhat too much of a lackluster team and frontloaded on to the mummies, I chose Lizardmen.
They seem rather a nice choice, and I had some experience, though back from 3rd edition in a league where they were able to choose from General skills as well. But I digress.

Lizardmen are well different from Khemri, being very mobile while having some quite relatively heavy hitting power in their arsenal, should the Saurii ever gain spp enough to gain skills.
The Skinks suffer heavily from being small and weak, but make up for it in their superior mobility. Sadly, their lack of Agility makes them a liability when you try to run through holes.
Holes which your Saurii cannot create, having little skills in the beginning, and while I chose Break Tackle as my Saurus's first skill, it didn't get as much use as I'd hoped.

I was rather surprised in that my skinks did'nt get horribly mauled even though I played some bashers. Nevertheless, they did show exactly how vulnerable they are in the many RR'd but ultimately failed dodges which led into many a skink diving flipper first into the Injurybox. While having stunty and dodge makes you a pretty nice dodger, I still rather take AG4 with elves in any of their form.
Along with the ability to choose from other skills as well as Diving Tackle and Sidestep.
Now, I'm not saying the skinks cant or should take any other. Merely how I felt about their selections.

Ah heck. I could say many things more, but in the end it comes down to this.
I like them shaven heinies. Elves rock and I'll have the poo-poo platter.
