Fanbase growing?
I feel like we are seeing a lot of new players on the site, particularly in blackbox.

Here are my guesses/observations:

1) From time of play, seems like many are in the US. But, there are plenty of other players too. I think we've had a 20% increase in site traffic recently.

2) Very close to the release of BBII for PS3. This is a great gateway to people playing Blood Bowl.

3) GW is planning on re-releasing Blood Bowl before the end of 2016. Are we seeing a re-birth of this cherished game?

4) Games in blackbox have been better recently. More second and third tier games, more casual players. The chat is a great new feature as well.

Stats don't really suggest that. https://fumbbl.com/p/stats

I'm US time zone and as of now, there hasn't been a [B]ox matchup in 3 hours ..

Well, the menu now includes gazpacho, and not so much poutine night after night. So that's nice I guess.

The chat is very cool, yes.

Although the stats show that we have fewer games than the same time last year, they also show there are more coaches who have played on the site than a month ago.

I feel like there are more coaches in BlackBox than 6-8 weeks ago.

I played two or three newbies recently but none of them had come through Cyanide, they were TT players or people who came to Fumbbl to join a private league.

What happened to the US coaches anyways? There used to be so many of 'em.

new chat? What?

I think most US Box coaches got too drunk & banned.

I wonder how I escaped so luckily :)

Sage: see the most recent news article. On the B activation page, there's now a chatbox that puts you in #fumbblblackbox.

What caused the big drop of people April 2009? From april to october 2009 the player base was halved only in a few months...

Trick BB1?

Seems like the site was down for a month or 2 around that time also.

A very large % of the USA coaches left FUMBBL when the site converted to CRP.

2 USA centirc leagues I was in vanished over night when FUMBBL converted.
