Bitten takes Larson in his stride...
It wouldn't be unreasonable to say that The Jugglers are right back on form after yet another victory, this time against the walking dead of Vald'raths Overlords. Coach clownfoot said he was delighted with the way the players have responded of late, but he was even more elated with the recent performances of star Vampire player Lord Bitten. Growing in stature with every game played, it was only going to be a matter of time until he did something special...

...but nobody expected a Larson!

It all started rather innocuously though. An early and rather ill concieved pass by Wight blitzer Almond Tight just happened to fly over the head of The Juggler's most gifted player, leading to Bitten rising like a salmon and plucking the ball out of the air with some ease. An interception soon led to a touchdown as the majestical neck biter single handedly gave The Juggler's the lead.

Still, there was plenty of work to do, more so because The Overlords weren't going to let the Vamps have it all there own way. A misplaced pass by fellow Vamp Clownfoot Passmore, after some excellent defending, was itself intercepted by Shavies Shavieses who emulated Bitten's feat with a touchdown return and the equiliser. Yet, Bitten had already, somewhat fortuitously, achieved The Juggler's only casaulty at this point. Defending against a block from one of the zombie wretches, Bitten's raised his elbow aginst the impact of the tackle, cracking open the jaw of his oppenent, and systematically retiring him to the reserves box.

With only a completion required at the restart, Bitten made the simple pass in a play that eventually saw Sven Svendergeland score a touchdown with a desperate lunge at the last, sealing not only the win, but a triumphant Larson for Bitten as well. Carried around the ground on the shoulders of his teammates in the post match celebrations, this was a defining moment not only for Bitten but for The Jugglers as a whole. Whatever else he manages in his career, he soon won't forget this glorious day... especially the three delectable Virgins delivered to his changing room by the sponsors for a job well done!
