This was one of the most exciting games I've ever played, truly impossible action. Constantly thawrted by ag5 elves and the scoring heat. Go to the link above or read the match report I put in below... Great stuff..

The scene...
My Lizzardmen, 10 men, only 3 skinks, but some serious business Sauran's.

Vs

Bottiger's Woodelves. Few niggles and a godly St3 ag 5 catcher. Pretty even TR/TS.

The game..
The scorching heat played havoc with my lizzies due to only have 3 skinks, and no injuries came till quite late in the game.

I manage to steal the ball towards the end of the first half and throw a skink to skink pass over the opposing treeman, INTERCEPTED!

Fortunately he was rooted and had to attempt a pass so my skink still managed to pick up in his TZ after a push/push blitz on him with a Sauran and scored with a hand off.

A Blitz kick off result from my opponent's elves while I had 1 skink on the pitch gave him an easy equaliser and it was game on 3 turns into the second half.

With 1 skink on the pitch and the weather clearing up I managed to get him into a pocket with the ball in his mits, only to have a wardancer leap + stripball (2dice against) the ball carrier and KO my only skink on the pitch.

All was lost as the ball was picked up by an elven catcher in 2 TZs. But he failed to dodge away from my Sauran with tackle and the ball spilled. A few blocks were thrown and then something special happened....

The crowd roared as a Sauran managed to scoop the ball up in a clumsy claw and launched it down the pitch in a wobbly long pass to his equally inept team mate.

SAURAN COMPLETION!!! The crowd goes wild. T15 and 6 paces away from the end zone.

Elves turn 15, he gets a one dice strip ball with the wardancer but the ball spills in the Saurans TZ, it looks like a definate draw an elven lineman picks the ball up and goes to short pass to his wardancer..

but then.. the impossible.... the very Sauran who was just stripped of the ball manages an INTERCEPTION!!!!

Madness reins and the crowd bellows and stamps, the ball carrier has 3 players on him though.. a simple chain push blitz from deep solves the problem and he runs it home for a Sauran TOUCHDOWN to win the game.

Awesome game, well worth watching the last 3 or 4 turns :)
