This TD was on Turn 8 of the first half, after Talabheim had scored a TD on turn 7 and received a Blitz on the Kick-off. After the Cardinals had done there thing on Turn 8 after the blitz, the Sluggers threw a few blocks, knocking the Emsk players away from the loose ball. Hill then scooped up the ball, reversed fields and Tossed a perfect pass to 2nd Round Draft pick Blitzer Troy Niklas, who caught it cleanly and ran it into the endzone for the go ahead score at the half.

4	8	King Hill	Thrower	Talabheim Sluggers	Undrafted	There doesn’t seem to be a lot of competition for this award in the first half of season one. I am wondering if that will change in the future as more QBs are developed or drafted. So this week we are back to the Week 1 winner of the award. Hill had 3 completions for 21 yards and a passing TD. The Sluggers lone score vs Flaschfurt came on a strike from Hill to Blitzer Trot Niklas.
5	3	Johnny Manziel	Thrower	{DLE} Kemperbad Knights	4th Round	There was not a lot of passing in Round 5. And those that did pass made pretty glaring mistakes in their game that I feel makes the unworthy of recognition. So this award goes to Manziel for completing a 1 yard lateral to team mate Dezmen Southward, that led to a turn 8 tying score, which Kemperbad would then win in the second half.
6	16	Cool Hand Joe	Thrower	San Luis 49ers	Franchise	- Turn2 long TD pass. - Turn8 completing a long bomb which could have been a TD pass if not for the inability of Steve MacAllister. - Intercepting in turn16 for a could be TD pass.
7	9	Joe Namath	Thrower	Praag Grizzlies	UDFA	Picking up a lose ball, then throwing a perfect intermediate spiral for the secure score on defense. In the 2nd half dodging Paul Richardson, delivering a long pass while avoiding interception, for the score!
8	15	Rich Gannon	Thrower	Marienburg Marauders	Undrafted	There was not a ton of passing in Round 8. But when Gannon threw the ball he made it count. He completed 1 pass for 2 yards but also had a touchdown and 32 Rush yards in the game vs Barboza.
9	3	Johnny Manziel	Thrower	{DLE} Kemperbad Knights	4th Round	Manziel had a pretty good game vs Brionne. Handing the Bucs their first loss of the season, He threw 2 Completions for 3 yards and a passing TD. He also performed in classic Johnny Football fashion also amassing 30 more yards on the ground and scoring a rushing TD as well.

While those stats did not lead either category for the week its the style with which Eddie scored that wins him this award. After missing the catch on the initial Kick-off and the ball bouncing over the Line of Scrimmage, Eddie took the ball on the free hand-off and ran straight down the field 13 squares for the opening score. And then basically 30 turns later, with his team down 2-1 on the final turn of the game Eddie put the Bruisers on his back and lead them from defeat to a draw as he caught the pass from Rookie Thrower Alex Smith and sprinted down the sidelines with his blazing speed. A triple GFI dodge through Tackle zones lead to a Barboza TD, breaking the hearts of all of Grenzburg.
2	14	Sammy Watkins	Catcher	San Luis 49ers	1st Round	In a game that included a League Record 7 total TDs, Watkins scored 3 of them, including a leaping One-Turner at the end of the first half to tie the score at one a piece. And then a quick score on turn 2 of the second half. And then after a quick score by the Gunners, Watkins answered again with his third and final score on turn 5 of the second half, leaving Nuln plenty of time to score the equalizer(but we will get to that later). The 49er catcher had 38 yards in the ground for the game.
3	14	Sammy Watkins	Catcher	San Luis 49ers	1st Round	Again… A back to back winner for an award. After leading the DLE in yards on the ground in week 2, Watkins does it again in week 3. Scoring 3 TDs and amassing 42 yards, Scootin’ Sammie carried his team to a 4-2 victory over future KFC South rival Remas.
4	12	Jeff Rodenberger	Catcher	Middenheim Classics	Undrafted	If you had told me that the winner of this award was going to be from the San Luis vs Middenheim game, I would have said, “Oh No! Not him AGAIN!” And I would have been right… Not HIM… In this game, the rookie Rodenberger outplayed the 1st Round Draft Pick from the other side of the field. Rodenberger ran for 33 yards and 2 TDs in his team’s 2-2 tie vs the 49ers. After a leaping blitz by that mentioned 1st Round Catcher knocked Rodenberger to the ground on turn 7, Team mate Adimchinobe Echemandu pushed Watkins away from Rodenberger’s prone body, allowing him to hop up, scoop and score on turn 8, taking a 1-0 lead. Then in the second half on turn 4 Rodenberger catches a short swing pass from Teddy Bridgewater and advances it to the 7 yard line. Then on Turn 5, he scores the go ahead TD.
5	1	Mike Evans	Catcher	Flashfurt Universe	1st Round	The first half of the San Luis-Flaschfurt game was rather entertaining. For the game Evans statistically rushed for 21 yards and a TD. All in the first half. However the 1st Rounder actually ran for 49 yards (forward, backward, side to side)throwing a block and executing 2 blitzes all while toting the rock, as well as a couple dodges along the way before deciding to score on turn 8 in Flaschfurt’s 2-0 victory.
6	9	Jerod Mayo	Blitzer	Broekwater Patriots	Undrafted	- Scoring twice, running the whole distance twice with some circles. Mayo did just what was needed for a win. It was nothing really fancy, he just did more often and more consistently this week than anybody else. /td]
7	14	Sammy Watkins	Catcher	San Luis 49ers	1st Round	John Sullivan (Erengrad Vikings) is a strong candidate for catching a handoff, then keeping his cool while bodies were falling around, then finally dodged out of diving tackle zone for the score! Great play!... ...So is Blake Bortles, the extraordinary Quarterback, who is physically gifted, and also made perfect decisions. He knew when to take blocks, when do dodge, when do block. Oh, and he went the distance!... ...But the award simply MUST go to Sammy, who scored 4 times, while also leaping around with perfect balance, and recovering loose balls equally as mastering a 2 minute receiving drill!
8	15	Emmanuel Sanders	Cather	Nuln Gunners	Undrafted	In the Gunners game vs Remas, Sanders went wild. Scoring 2 Touchdowns with 23 yards rushing.
9	6	Logan Thomas	Thrower	Grenzburg Greenskins	3rd Round	After feeling that he was shafted last week, Thomas will be happy to see his name here. The Ultra Strong Thrower had his way with the Rangers. Basically taunting them at the goal line before scoring on the last turn of each half. He finished the game vs Dead Wood with 34 yards rushing and 2 TDs in the Greenskins 2-1 victory that ensured his team a winning record for the season.

Other than a KO he was pretty quiet for the rest of the first half, but as soon as the second half started he began to wreak more havoc. Turn 1, badly hurt a rookie. Turn 2, Piles on 2nd Round Catcher Brandin Cooks and smashes his ankle(-MA). Turn 3, another Badly hurt Rookie. And then on Turn 5 of the second half he finishes up where he started off by killing a Young… this time Rookie lineman Bryant Young./td]

1	6	Barry Hooker	Ogre	Monte Castello	UDFA	There was quite the interesting series of events on turn 7 of the Wreckers/Grizzlies game. With the ball laying on the ground next to Hooker, the Grizzlies made their move. Praag Franchise Ogre, Lee Roy Salmon shook free of his stupor and blitzed Monte Castello's Franchise Thrower Dunkel Hoffnung, knocking him out with a pile-on and pushing teammate Jace Amaro in the meantime. Amaro, the 1st round pick of the Grizzlies, then dodged free of two Wreckers. He then ran around Hooker and picked up the ball in 2 tackle zones attempting to make the pass to catcher Bashaud Breeland. However the Large and surprisingly athletic Hooker had other ideas, intercepting the pass. Wreckers' team mates then threw several blocks to free him up allowing him to Go For It into the Endzone for the "Pick Six.".

While Ground Player of the Week Sammy Watkins had a great game, he was out done by this rookie Catcher from the other side of the field. Scoring a league record 4 TDs in a single game Cotchery provided us with our Week 2 Epic Moment. After scoring his third touchdown of the game to tie the score and keep up with Watkins on the stat sheet, Cotchery went to work on defense. Turn 7 kick off…. Wouldn’t you know it?? Nuln gets the jump and performs a BLITZ! So the players, including Cotchery, move into position before the ball even hits the ground. Then San Luis’ second string thrower, UDFA Steve Young, (who was sharing the field with the starting thrower at the time) run over and picked up the ball from the deep corner, upon returning to the center of the field, Young, tripped and Stunned himself. Seeing this opportunity Cotchery jets his way over to the loose ball, scoops it up and takes it to the goal line, pausing there. Then the other San Luis Thrower, Franchise player , Cool Hand Joe blitzes Cotchery at the goal line. Rerolling a push into a Skull, Joe hits the turf and Cotchery walks in for his Epic Game Winning 4th score of the day.

4	1	Eric Ebron	Blitzer	Brionne Buccaneers	1st Round	This is the situation I earlier stated that I would get to later. In the Brionne vs Deadwood contest Brionne seemed to be in command for the win. All it would take on Turn 7/7 of the second half was a 2d blitz (with 2 re-rolls in reserve)on the Ranger’s star thrower (who by the way doesn’t have Block nor Dodge) followed by a small 3 man wall placed in front of him. And Ebron could have waited at the 1 yard line untouched for turn 8/7 and then score the winner on turn 8/8. Instead the Buccaneers seemed to get impatient and headed toward the goal line, setting up a slight screen for Ebron, who followed behind them. Then as he got to the 2 yard line he began tip-toeing around and continued for the endzone scoring the go ahead TD and leaving a turn for Dead Wood to equal the score. Which we all know they did on Beckham’s Leaping OTT Play of the Week! So Eric, for not thinking it through, and not leading your team to sure victory you receive this award. Congrats SUCKER!

Other than a KO he was pretty quiet for the rest of the first half, but as soon as the second half started he began to wreak more havoc. Turn 1, badly hurt a rookie. Turn 2, Piles on 2nd Round Catcher Brandin Cooks and smashes his ankle(-MA). Turn 3, another Badly hurt Rookie. And then on Turn 5 of the second half he finishes up where he started off by killing a Young… this time Rookie lineman Bryant Young./td]

With the ball laying on the ground next to Hooker, the Grizzlies made their move. Praag Franchise Ogre, Lee Roy Salmon shook free of his stupor and blitzed Monte Castello's Franchise Thrower Dunkel Hoffnung, knocking him out with a pile-on and pushing teammate Jace Amaro in the meantime. Amaro, the 1st round pick of the Grizzlies, then dodged free of two Wreckers. He then ran around Hooker and picked up the ball in 2 tackle zones attempting to make the pass to catcher Bashaud Breeland. However the Large and surprisingly athletic Hooker had other ideas, intercepting the pass. Wreckers' team mates then threw several blocks to free him up allowing him to Go For It into the Endzone for the "Pick Six.".

While Ground Player of the Week Sammy Watkins had a great game, he was out done by this rookie Catcher from the other side of the field. Scoring a league record 4 TDs in a single game Cotchery provided us with our Week 2 Epic Moment. After scoring his third touchdown of the game to tie the score and keep up with Watkins on the stat sheet, Cotchery went to work on defense. Turn 7 kick off…. Wouldn’t you know it?? Nuln gets the jump and performs a BLITZ! So the players, including Cotchery, move into position before the ball even hits the ground. Then San Luis’ second string thrower, UDFA Steve Young, (who was sharing the field with the starting thrower at the time) run over and picked up the ball from the deep corner, upon returning to the center of the field, Young, tripped and Stunned himself. Seeing this opportunity Cotchery jets his way over to the loose ball, scoops it up and takes it to the goal line, pausing there. Then the other San Luis Thrower, Franchise player , Cool Hand Joe blitzes Cotchery at the goal line. Rerolling a push into a Skull, Joe hits the turf and Cotchery walks in for his Epic Game Winning 4th score of the day.

In the Brionne vs Deadwood contest Brionne seemed to be in command for the win. All it would take on Turn 7/7 of the second half was a 2d blitz (with 2 re-rolls in reserve)on the Ranger’s star thrower (who by the way doesn’t have Block nor Dodge) followed by a small 3 man wall placed in front of him. And Ebron could have waited at the 1 yard line untouched for turn 8/7 and then score the winner on turn 8/8. Instead the Buccaneers seemed to get impatient and headed toward the goal line, setting up a slight screen for Ebron, who followed behind them. Then as he got to the 2 yard line he began tip-toeing around and continued for the endzone scoring the go ahead TD and leaving a turn for Dead Wood to equal the score. Which we all know they did on Beckham’s Leaping OTT Play of the Week! So Eric, for not thinking it through, and not leading your team to sure victory you receive this award. Congrats SUCKER!
