These however were very heated exchanges indeed… what would start out as play fights soon broke out into blood thirsty skirmishes that threatened to rekindle the very battles in which they were supposed to be staging. </span></p><p class="MsoNormal"><span lang="EN-GB">In an effort to reduce the bloodshed, whilst still celebrate the spirit of the event, the wise Elven elders suggested that the races should battle it out upon a blood bowl field instead. </span></p><p class="MsoNormal">And so it was that the Bowl of Middle Earth was created.
