The SWL Guide
A quick and dirty How to Join the Greatest League on FUMBBL

1. Come and say hi! PM an admin, pop into #swl on irc.fumbbl.net

2. Submit a draft list – have a geezer at your rulebook, or this page to figure out which teams suit you best; put them in a list and flick it to Tomay via FUMBBL pm.

3. When assigned your team, give a celebratory shout, then make your team. We love the Fluff in SWL, so make it something worthy of Legend. Once you’re happy, apply the team to SWL Fringe

4. Jump in to the deep end and start hassling coaches in #swl for some trial games. You need to play at least a couple, but make sure you don’t go over TW130 (Not sure what that means? Ask around, the lads are pretty helpful.)

5. When you think you’re ready, make sure your team has:
a. 11 players (this may include journeymen)
b. No gold
c. A Tournament Weight of 130 or less
If so, submit it to the SWL Group Page

6. When the Season is drawn check out who your opponent is, hassle them to play, and… start Creating Your Legend!


Extra Points to Consider:
• Read the Seasonal Forum thread for up-to-date info including round deadlines.
• Need an extension? PM swladmin and ask really nicely.
• Don’t concede – the Hall of Shame is no place for an SWL coach.
• If you need to take a break from the pressure, we won’t judge. Just PM Tomay and ask to ‘park’ your team – you get 4 seasons off before your fans start to abandon all hope!
• Injured your Superstar? Sorry, no potions in SWL – we like ‘em battered (or fried, the fans aren’t choosy)
