Break in the Sylvanian War - and boredeom among besiegers and besieged? Well, since nobody really likes boredom, this mutual standstill has caused both side's forces to set up some Blood Bowls stadiums!
So, the forces of the light side and those of the dark side have agreed on settling most not-so-big disputes with a game of Blood Bowl instead of open warfare - less casualties to be expected.
<b>League/Tourney Rules:</b>
1. Every player may have two teams, but needs not - one from the light side (Old World) and one from the dark (Vampires/Necromantic).
2. Games played are only Light vs. Dark and of course not vs oneself.
3. There are going to be divisions in which every team will play every team of the opposing side in that division once; then top dark and top light team will advance to the playoffs. Every game will be light vs dark, nothing else.
4. Keep it fluffy - there is some real Fantasy BG in here, so try to stay in the spirit of Sylvania.
Division Size should be pretty small - 4 light and 4 dark teams should make up each division. Amount of divisions is a result of player interest in the project of course.
<b>Allowed teams (fresh teams only):</b>
Old World (Light side)
Vampires, Necromantic (Dark side)
I've been asked if undead teams are allowed - the problem is, there ARE no mummies in Sylvania, simple as that. So, if you want to play an undead team and can live with the fact of not having any mummies, that could work for the background, so Dark side can also be "Undead without Mummies".
Wizards, Apos and Freebooters are allowed as you see fit.
Only Stars that are available are Zara the Slayer (light) or Luthor (dark). No others make their way into Sylvania.
<b>Scoring:</b>
Win: 9
Tie: 5
Loss: 1
Points for TDs: 2^(# of TD -2) (Minimum of 1 except if you don't score any TDs)
NO Points for Cs
<b>Division Setup:</b>
3 Divisions have been formed so far, and If enough people want to join we can have a fourth (if they play their games in time).
You should play a game per week (or more if you want), no less, so we should be through the division games in a month.
