Jock Strap Of Thorns Now under new management, the Jockstrap of Thorns administration team have all been killed due to investigation that uncovered evidence of corruption that was so indemic they could only find one member who had not been bribed, coerced or just plain brainwashed. So with this in mind the powers that be have appointed Mickey Da Snivler to usher in a new and fresh approach it should be made clear that Mickey's stunty status has nothing to do with rule amendments. The new look tournament will run as follows:
Round 1 will be arranged by seeding from the halfway stage of the league, so it will work as follows The top team will play the next highest ranked team from any other coach. The next highest ranked team will again play the next highest ranked team from any other coach. Finally the 2 remaining teams in the league will play each other.
The second round draw will depend on whether 1 coach gets both of his teams through so we will 2 possible outcomes which will be as follows:
3 separate coaches get 1 team each through.
then the 3 losing teams will be ranked according to the following:
+3 points per touchdown scored
-1 for each TD conceded
+1 per SI
+3 per Kill
and the team that is top of this list will play in the semi-finals.
That leaves us with the issue of the semi-final draw which will be drawn to see which team of the coach with 2 teams plays.
In the event that 1 coach gets both teams to the final I would suggest that they chose which team they play with and the finalist will be chosen using the above scoring system from both rounds. With a bonus of +3 for any team who won their first game.
If somebody gets 2 teams into the semis straight out then the following will apply the coach who has no team in the semi-final will have the scoring system above applied to their teams and 1 team will make it through, then we follow the same process as above.
There is one final caveat any team that concedes cannot proceed to the next round if this means a coach gets a by so be no team that concedes gets
We want this to be bloody and high scoring hence why the penalty for conceding a td is much less than the reward for scoring. Basically if you lose but score a couple of touchdowns and kill some people along the way then your chances of getting through are better so even if you are losing you still have something to play for.
Mickey will tally the points up an will adjudicate any disagreements, for the record apothecaried injuries will count towards your tally.
We will now have the following rule amendments:
100000 extra gold is given to each coach for purchasing cards.
150000 extra gold is given to the bottom 2 league teams for purchasing inducements each round(all other teams who receive this money are prohibited from using it and will be immediately ejected from the cup if they chose to not adhere to this condition).
Right Stuff prevents the Tackle skill when blocked
Sneaky Git functions like Guard on foul assists.
Banned sneaky git players are sent to the KO box instead.
Drawn matches will result in Overtime.
And at Mickey's personal request we will be using a spiked ball to add a bit of spice.

If you think your team is tough enough to wear this famous article rumoured to have been given to Dirty Dan of the Chaos all Stars for scoring the winning TD in one of their Chaos Cup victories you can be sure that this is a prize that no self-respecting team would want, fortunately we have no room for self-respecting teams here just a lust for blood that will have the fans going crazy and the players running for their lives. So boys and girls the first round of the cup is over and what a round it's been, we saw the Ironbeards murdering the Inhumans in a game which saw the vampires doing almost as much damage to their own team as the opposition in the early stages and combined this with a tactical decision to avoid picking up the ball which ultimate saw them dumped out of the competition in unceremonious fashion by the better team. The Epidemic ran out close winners against the much improved Raiders and much to my pleasure the mighty mighty Hungry Gobbo's destroyed Pie and get smashed to proceed to the semi's as the top ranked team.
Now we prepare for the semi finals which have now been decided despite the points draw between Badger's teams the successful apothecary ultimately decided it but given the 2 sides performances it seems like the right decision.
So now we look forward to the hard hitting Nurgle against the newly revitalised Gobbo's and the sturdy Dorfs verses the speedy Rats.
it is a draw that should have even the most experienced coach desperate for a place ringside.
Lets get this baby rolling on so that we see who will go to the final of the greatest competition to grace our planet.
