“Yet another brutally difficult draw against Emphasy...
The first half was just torture for Axiom as Emphasy KO'd 4 and put one in the hurt zone. A perfect defense and some feeble dice for me let him take a 2-0 lead into half-time, and I have to say I was pretty demoralized.
The second half went a bit better for me, although not exactly brilliantly as the luckmeter can tell you. We managed a pretty secure 2 turn score, but of course it cost 2 rerolls.
I rolled a blitz on the next kickoff, but there wasn't much to be done with it.
Emphasy secured the ball in a guarded cage with his St4 Witch Elf.
I surrounded her the cage a bit then sent in brave Baroque Spinehozzer for the 'ol 2 dice-against Strip ball attempt.
Well, he made his leap, then rolled double-skull, reroll, double-skull...opponents choice!
Emphasy didn't have to think too hard on that one, I suspect ;-)
That's when things took a turn for the better :)
Emphasy manged to fail an early dodge, allowing me to get another crack. I freed the ball, but couldn't secure it.
Emphasy then obligingly snake-eyed again almost immediately, and we needed no further prodding to grab the pigskin and make off down field with it like a bunch of bandits!
A little mini-cage in the corner allowed us to stall for a couple turns to secure the tie (we only had 6 players or so on the field, defense would have been very tough) and that was that.

Hehe, again Tautology proves to be a good fighter, not giving up with dices and all going my way.
1st half was all mine, no matter what i did, it was all good!
2nd half was pretty equal, 1 fatal round made it possible for Tautology to get away and secure the ball far far away from me:(
Getting draws in our games is becomming a tradition, which just shows the close games we have had lately - I love it!
