“A pretty uneventful match up, but not an un-fun game. Ambush dragged out the first half, scoring too late for me to equalize. He was counting on me to go for the quick TD, then be able to finish with the go-ahead goal. I, however, knew this, and, taking a look at the cas-box at halftime (depressingly empty, although I had sucked out the apo), decided to play for the tie. I boxed up, and rumbled slowly down the pitch. Ambush, borrowing a page from the Chaos playbook, tried to speed me on the way by knocking down stragglers and gang-fouling them. But Elves aren't Chaos, and their woefull inability to do anything only steadied my resolve to drag the half out.
The death was a non-event late in the game (as deaths usually are) where a line elf paid the ultimate price for trying to beat up a stray Beastman.
Thanks for the game Ambush, I have a feeling the rematch will be a bit more eventful. :)”
