“The Amazons were always going to be up against it when they could only field 10 players to start... they got doom and gloom and get the ref has handicaps which didn't really help too much.

Once I had scored the first TD the game was pretty much over... Meech's luck was appalling... although they hit as hard as I did, I just managed to put 3 amazons out in the KO box who pretty much didn't want to come back!

I tried to hold back from SPP farming with casualties as once a team is beaten in a tournament you want your opponent to have a chance beating some of the other sides and taking points off them.

I did get 2 interceptions though via some desperate play from Meech... the 2nd touch down he threw backwards hoping it would be dropped into the crowd and launched back up field to his lone amazon... but I intercepted that as well! Luck was with me today! Even got +FF and enough cash to get some substitutes...
