10 chaos faced 9 elves.

Sweltering heat. I recieved, and played a little reckless, having BH one elf first turn I felt fairly confident. Some fighting for the ball ensued. Last thing in my turn before first disaster I threw a 1d-block with my claw at the elf near the rear, and came up a skull. The elves managed to knock down the ball and pass him and he ran for it, and I couldn't get there. (rolls were some dodges, 2d-block, 2+3+2+2+2+ after the reroll was spent).

0-1.

I had 4 turns to even out the score. An evil kick made me change sides, adn then I ran for it. The elves easily dodged into position (damn them! fail!)and took the ball. My blitz without tackle got lucky and the ball was knocked loose again. We struggled, and then the elves made away with it. For the final turn I once more knocked it loose, but it bounced into the TZ of the dtackle WE. Half end 0-1. 2 cas for me.

Elves with the ball, rushed forward on both sides. They didn't get the clear run, so opted to wait, even though I could blitz the thrower. My blitz failed to get it, but we followed the elves back towards their part of the field. Fouled the WE, but -again- we failed to hurt her. The elves ran down one side, locking my tackle players in the grip of the WE. Blitz without tackle produced the ball, but the elves quickly took it back. I knocked that one down, but it bounced into the hands of another elf! I had it surrounded but they made it away once more (another leap that turn, he made 3-4 without failing. arr.) I need to dodge away from another dtackle to blitz and don't make the 4+. 0-2.

Dammit!

Probably should have taken it easier first half, hitting the elves more. But what fun is that?”
