“Orca Cola Cup Series - Antipodal Regional Shield 02/06 Round 1

Well despite the 2-0 scoreline and everything going right for me (except my own mistakes - that 76% was my real luck score) this was a very close game.

The Evil mummies were on fire as they got two casualties straight from the kick-off and we managed to score halfway through the first half. Then the undead did just enough to hold off the khemri from equalising in the remaining 1st half despite a mummy catching a short pass in the last turn! Unfortunately for ghepi he was just out of TD range...

2nd half saw the khemri make a steady rumbling advance up the field, KO'ing a number of Evil players and it looked like an inevitable TD. However some unlucky rerolled blocking dice left a hole in the defence and the Evil stripball wight was able to knock the ball loose. Another bad set of blocking dice then gave my undead the chance to retrieve the ball and a race out of danger to score on the counter attack.

Regen had been working well on both sides but unfortunately it didn't work late on with the Radames mummy - sorry mate :-/
