“The first half Chaos received and started with a vengeance. Some injuries and a few KO's later the hapless dead were without a chance to stop the drive. The immensely annoying blodge mummy was the target for our one foul and KO he went.

Shame he returned the first chance he got.

The Undead creatures were not able to penetrate the Chaos defense in the 2 turns remaining the 1st half.

The second half dice switched sides. All of a sudden nothing the Possessed tried worked. Without reserves after 2 BH in the first half (the Troll who failed to reg and the ONE clawed beast I have!) I was soon down another Chaos warrior and things turned desperate. All I could do is put pressure on him and force him to score perhaps faster than he'd really like.

My drive; 5 turns to go but outnumbered.

What was worse; the fickle dice still did not like a thing I tried.

BUT they came back with a vengeance.

In the dying moments of the match my AG4 beast scooped up the ball (2+) and threw a LONG BOMB (5+) to the Chaos warrior with a wight in his tackle zone. Accurate pass and the Warrior caught it. (4+)

He then proceeded to dodge (3+) and had to make 2 gfi. (failed one but a RR saved)

2-1.

DISGUSTINGLY LUCKY.
