This game came down to two things: armor rolls and numbers. I was extremely unlucky with my armor rolls (continiously failing to smash zombies with my str 5 might blow black orc), while my opponent kept knocking out my black orc blockers and linemen.
I played extremely newbiesh in the beginning (well, I HAVE been gone for a while), and it cost me several players. By the time I got back in the swing of things, I had so few players in the pitch that I couldn't make use of the lucky breaks I got.

Still, the income was good, and I replaced my gimped and dead lineman, and still had enough money for another blitzer. Remember, the orcs cant be defeated. If dey win, dey win.
