“Ouch! I knew when I agreed to the game that this would be a very bloody one indeed.

I was actually extremely lucky in this game, despite what the cas numbers show. I made an insane amount of dodges, and managed to regularly get out of multiple tackle zones to blitz the ball carrier. The end result was that I managed a 1-0 win despite only having 3 players on the field in the end. I could probably have done better in the cas department if I'd kept players surrounded by 3 undead laying down, instead of defiantly standing them up, but that would have been close to conceding the game, and Im quite proud that my tenacious (if slightly smashed) norse could pull off a win.

I've played 2 norse teams this far, and I have to admit I still dont quite know how to play them. They're not a ball handling team, lacking the speed and skills to run and pass very well. However, they have AV 7, no real shock troops cept hte big guy, and even with block they're really hard pressed to win at the bashing game.

Still, with everyone starting with block, players are easy to replace, so I dont mind terribly if they take a beating. Thus is the game of blood bowl played! ”
