“What a hard fought game!
General Destruction started the scoring with Sherman driving up the right flank after getting the Bashers to over commit on the left flank.
On the next kickoff Hungoriat, previously known as sure hands, repeatedly fumbled the ball in the Bashers backfield. Alexander of General Destruction campaigned from the flank into the backfield to nearly put Hungoriat out of his misery and take the ball in for a first half 2-0 lead.
Now the chaos began! On the next two kickoffs, there was injury time. The ref must have been foreshadowing because the Bashers put the hurt on the Generals in a big way as they killed Caesar and Patton and then niggled Rommel. The apoth was no help to the Generals. The Bashers scored on offense, and then on a critical blown die roll by the Generals, the Bashers went up the middle to score on defense and force OVERTIME!!!
The Bashers won the toss and then played nearly zero risk ball to drive the ball in for a sudden death TD!

Bashers had kicked off to General D and all I had to do was keep the ball away, as I was up 2-1. Low and behold Maginot rolls double down/double down and all his vaunted strength is useless as he watched player after player run by him, deep into my own territory!
It is my own fault, I suppose, for having named him Maginot to begin with.
Good luck in the tournament, and hopefully I can repay some of these casulties in the future!”
