Even though the Stinger Headcoach is kicking himself for leaving a gap in the last defensive play to allow the Undead to equalize, Ferryn WyvernSting and his boys leave he field with heads held high. They had survived!
The light armour of the elves had held out for one more game with most elves preferring to remain stunned on the pitch than semi conscious in the dugout. (Heck after 4 bashy teams in a row I thought we'd all be dead by now).
We still haven't quite gotten the leap/blitz into cage thing to work yet. And I know it's going to make the ladies go "ooh - ahh" when we do get it right. But on offence we had enough catchers remain upright to keep the options open for a quick score. Which is just as well as we only had the ball for 4 turns.

2pts - Robert Oppenheimer, the only Mummy to show up for the game. Landed an atomic punch on Micah Half-Elven (who was in his first game) and sent to the dugout to watch the rest of the match from the sidelines.

1pts - Nikola Tesla, one the two Str 4 Ghouls. Always a worry, didn't carry the ball much but got all the necessary blocks that mattered. Including the last block to clear the way for the equalizer.”
