RIVENDELL, ERIADOR, MIDDLE EARTH - "To Mordor with them!" cried Rivendell coach Elrond Half-Elven. Aghast at watching another poor performance by the High Elves, owner, general manager, and coach Elrond has decided to fold the franchise.

"It did not matter whether they we had the ball and were driving to win, or if the opponent was marching downfield, we did not make the plays when we needed to. With some of the plays we made, you would think that one of the Nine Nazghul were on the pitch!" continued Elrond.

He later cited an erosion of fan interest as one of the determining factors in his decision. "With fewer Noldor in the seats, I cannot afford to pay the high prices. You would think with the practice facilities at the Last Homely House we could attract the better players for less, but it is not the case. With what some of them are making, it might be cheaper to pay them with the Silmarils!"

Elrond promised that the Rivendell franchise will be back. He did take some blame in some personnel and training decisions that stunted the team. "We could not play defense, and that is what brings home the FUMBBL Cup! We will be back, but I am taking a hiatus to collect my thoughts and scout out our old rivals, the Lorien Bombers, and see what makes them successful!"

Note, difference in TR was due to my 310K hehehe.
----------
The Marauders started in offence but were caught slightly flatfooted due to a Boyz blitz. However, the Marauders recovered the ball and advanced it into Boyz territory.

The Marauders made a left a gap in their screen allowing one sprinting (2x GFI) Orc Blitzer to take down their thrower near the sideline. With pressure mounting on them, the Marauders attempted a long bomb after recovering the ball.

The pass was fumbled and eventually, the Boyz recovered the ball and ran in a touchdown late in the first half.

The Boyz lined up against the full Marauder line up in the second half as despite flattening their opponents regularly in the first half, not a single player had been knocked out a became a casualty!

However, this soon changed as the Boyz injured one and knocked out another as they pushed forward with the ball before scoring a second TD halfway into the final period.

The Marauders then pulled off an improbably play to score a consolation TD to end the game 2-1.
--------------
My opponent had a lot of luck early... one dice pows galore! Then he made the mistake and allowed my Blitzer to nail his Thrower. He was then very unlucky to fumble the Long Bpmb given he has Accurate and Strong Arm.

For the life of me I could not injure any of his players. I knocked the over and over and over and the best was a couple of stuns!

Second half I got two players up on him early, but that didn't matter when I was in defence as he rolled 3 one dice pows in a row, then rolled a two dice I choose double pow! When it came to me blitzing his ball carrier with two dice, I failed two GFI out of three rolls so it was an easy TD for him hehehe.

No FF gain, but finally another BOB got block, and one of my Blitzers got a double for his advance so it was a great game all in all hehehe.
