At the beginning of the game the Professional's coach showed up totally drunk, or maybe even worse - who knows. He sent the defense team on the pitch, even though a lot of player were argueing with him about them receiving and not kicking. Still he didn't give in and the players obeyed after the sight of the 2 orc bouncers.
3 turns later the coach finally realized his mistake and tried to make the best out of it - which was not too easy since he didn't field his thrower. Yet the Professionals managed to score in turn 7 after Zorkan Telok dunks in a long bomb on Merlin Bredokan - rather a miracle then good play.
The second half started nearly as spectacular. A good aimed kickoff and a bad block by the Midnight Malice made it possible for the Professionals to get ahold of the ball. Yet again Zorkan Telok rushed forward, grabbed the ball right in front of the still astonished beastman and threw a long pass deep into the Professionals zone, safely caught by the new quaterback. The High Elves then tried some strange cage tactics, which obviously blew against the much stronger hordes of Chaos. Thrishgath, the strongest player by far on the pitch, grabbed the ball and crawled towards the endzone. It was obvious that Midnight Malice tried to stall the game to force a draw.
The Professionals tried hard, running 2 blitzes against the ballcarrier, but alas nothing could be done against that monster. Midnight Malice scored in turn 8 and the Professionals headcoach just fielded a few players again to let them practice the ballhandling some and moon the Chaos hordes...
It was a game of up and downs, a game of luck and absolutely no luck. Yet it was a good game.
