“Another possible suicide game - Ogres can make or break teams. In my last vs Ogres, they broke my Khemri, unfailing blocks with pows every time and no rerolls needed (tm) shattered their bones easily.
This game, the first half they threatened tto do the same - pows were a constant stream, and only crappy armour rolls had me fielding a full compliment of players.
The scoreline flatters me somewhat - key blocks and bone heads stopped the Ogres dead in their tracks in the second half, though I screwed up royally by going for a 2 dice block at the end fo the third and getting double skulls, rather than use an Ag4 goblin to scoop up a free ball and run unmolested to the end zone for 3-1 at half time.
Both teams had blitzes, the first score of the game came in turn 1 with the Ogres flattening my LOS and then TTM to score.
I guess the luck score you see up there is right - the Ogres had 70+ in the first half, I had 50 or so, in the seoncd half the Ogres had some success but I had more, hence the change around in fortune with the scores.
Thx for the game Chris - I chatter about luck, good and bad, throughout, and this game was decided by luck - my good, your bad, at key times for both.
Cheers
