He repays me by failing his 2+ WA roll the first 4 turns of the match, watching and roaring as a teammate gets niggled thx to the lack of apo medicines. He got a token cas late in the match, looked up at the stands and roared as if to say "see, I'm worth keeping around"...only our SV got two cas to his one, so who showed who?

Nice tactical play by both sides, with a little luck going to the elves at the start as his catcher 1d POW'd my gutter, stole the ball, and scored in the same turn. We got the turnaround later, as a massive heat wave sapped all but 6 elves, and we were able to steal the ball for the equalizing 3-3 score. Stole the ball again when he rolled double-skulls, taking a 4-3 edge. Couldn't stop his return stroke 4-4, but a chainpush OTS gave me the 5-4 victory as time ran out.
