Well this was a training match vs a 0 RR 1 FF team that had a stack of positionals with more skills. My opponent was new to the game so I gave him plenty of advice and tips during the match.

Was a very hard match in the first half as I went a player down early (Skull/Pow each and double BH, but he used apoth) and then I kept rolling more Skull/Pows or getting hit into the KO box. One of the middle turns was disasterous, starting with a double skulls, rerolled to get a push, then the next block was double skulls again.

Was tough, but I finally managed to get away to a late score in the half after being bogged down.

Second half, I had 9 in defence vs 10. My opponent got a good drive and was set up for a two turn score. However, being still new at the game, he blitzed from the wrong side and thus had no where to push my player after getting a push and he had to dodge and/or multiple GFI to score with his Witch.

He rolled crud and KO'd the Witch, allowing me to recover the ball and advance it downfield. My blocks started to take some effect, with my opponent having 5 KOd (and me having 2 and one Badly Hurt) by the time I was forced to score.

Despite my opponent's lack of experience, it was a challenging game and it could have a tightly contested finish if he had done his blitz correctly on turn 2 in the second half. That mistake and then the unlucky roll afterwards gave me the game.

Anyways, I wish my opponent luck and fun in the future.
