“Game number 200 for my beloved Doomy Diggers was not the lovely celebration we had hoped for.

We did get to play one of our all time rivals who gratiously accepted to play the game despite the TS difference. Thanks Startrek!

Starting kick-off was given to the woodies who did their 1 turn thing so we could start our glorious drive......... NOT.........

Lately our games vs woodies have been ruined by blitzes, and this game was no exception. Blitz in turn 1 for the woodies and it looks like game over. Guess again, because some bad luck from Rijssiej turned the whole field into a mess of single elves and cd's trying to mark them. Some bad luck from Rijssiej made it possible for us to recover the ball, and despite some more scrappy play from both sides due to the unusual tactical situation our hobgob only had to pick up the ball and make 1 GFI to tie in turn 8.

You guessed it, used the reroll to pick up and fell down on the GFI. Sometimes you just know it.

Second half was pretty uneventful. I scored without too many problems despite another enormously beneficial kick for the woodies (without kick, and rolling bad kick on the kick0off). I decided not to stall, because I wanted a shot at the win, but a nice typical elf play with some dodges through tacklezones and stuff gave Rijssiej the win.

3rd loss in a row now against the coach who used to be my primary Biatch..........
