Well, in response, the game was indeed a mess in the first half, and the rats did make use of some outrageous luck in scoring in turn 8.

In the second half we decided to play to our relative strength, and began to KO rats (no real CAS, as you can see). However, a distinct lack of RRs (burned in turns 1and 2) made scoring in turn 4 rather dangerous, as it would have left us out manned (10 vs 11) and trying to defend at 1-1 with the rats having 4 turns in which to score to win (with 4 GRs).

Therefore our decsision to ensure the 1-1 draw, and try to pick up a few more CASs in the process, was entirely justified in terms of the Dark Elven approach.

Rat-boy here is just bitter that I didn;t give him the chance to win the game - a play that would have been deeply stupid.

Oh, and complaining that DEs foul? Well duh!

The 1st half of this game was all bad luck. Multiple 1s one both sides.

However; for both halves, Shadowkind did a great job of rolling pows, and breaking armor. Nearly 100% throughout the whole match.

A lucky break allowed the Masters to score on turn 8 of the 1st half.

Shadowkind then bashed and fouled away all the rats during the 2nd half. With forced crowding a turn 15 foul, and 4 turns of stalling, the Shadowkind fell weak, and worked hard for a tie...

Congrats on that tie! Way to shoot for the moon.

With a little more skill, the Shadowkind could have won that match easily.
