Note, luck reading is out due to opponent quitting the game after I killed his Witch Elf with a foul. After his account was suspended, he came back to complete the game. TR difference is due to my then 500K in the kitty.
--------

The violentos quendi started in offence and penetrated deep into the Boyz territory. The Boyz put on some great defence, but the Dark Elves were still able to score.

On the Boyz offensive drive, they advanced the ball strongly along the right sideline, before breaking for the middle of the pitch (with a Blodger) after being unable to shift the defenders (Skull/Pows galore) late in the first half.

The Dark Elves were able to run down the would be scorer (Pow on one of two dice) and hurl the ball away so the Boyz could not score.

The Boyz were furious, and injured 3 players with blocks (all in turn 8!).

The Boyz fans were furious and they stormed the pitch at the beginning of the second half and killed the referee!

The Boyz proceeded to take advantage of this and fouled repeatedly in the first half of the final period, badly hurting a few more players. Whilst the Boyz were confident of scoring an equalising TD, they also wanted to steal the ball in defence on the next kickoff and win the match.

With the Bozys pushing hard upfield and the fouls and blocking knocking out or injuring several players, the Dark Elves could only watch as the greenskins scored the equaliser (my opponent quit on a foul that killed his Str 4 Witch Elf, on the reload, the foul only badly hurt her).

The Dark Elf team was completely un-nerved by the number of casualties and on the next lineup, only 3 of their remaining 4 players took to the field.

The Boyz did not foul again as it was pointless, and instead focused on securing the ball and scoring which they did with ease.
-----------------
After my opponent played a pretty good first half to deny me a score (though I was unlucky to have to break from my cage after rolling a lot of skull/pows on 2 dice), I was certain I would at best draw the match as he had some very effective players (eg the Str 4 Witch Elf).

When I rolled Get The Ref, I used it to my full advantage like most Ork players would and it paid off, getting me a large numerical advantage. All the fouls caused were Badly Hurts or less apart from the one that killed his Witch Elf but it didn't save due to my opponent quitting.

I could understand him getting upset during the second half as I countinued to foul, but it is a game and I have certainly had other coaches go beserk on me when they roll get the ref. There are also games when I don't foul when I roll get the ref, but in this case, it was the only way I thought I had of winning so I took it.

However, mabye there is some kharma at work here as post match, both my players who advanced (Str 5 Black Orc, and AG 4 Blitzer) aged and got a niggle (BOB on 16 SPP and Blitzer on 51 SPP)!!!
