“2 Seriously Injured Lino's in the first round of blocks and my slight numbers advantage was shattered. Later in the half, another lino hit the SI box and a few others took a mid game rest in the KO box and the numbers game was definatly going against me!
2-0 down and the Beasts didn't fold however, a gutsy effort of 7 men against 11 and some courageous dodging from Soaring Eagle resulted in a deserved consolation TD (and the all important 1 league point!!!)
The real injury cost will be felt for some time however, with all three SI players carrying a long term injury - so yes Mully - my future opponents should thank you later for the handicaps I no doubt deserve....”
