What a match, I never knew goblins could fly, but when their ogre launched that sucker. It didn't flap it's wings, it only landed well behind us and danced into the endzone. As we lined up, our mouths were still slack jawed in amazement. An orc team scored in the opening moments of the game. Almost as fast as those damnable woodies and skaven.

It was our turn to receive and we didn't have any razzle dazzle play, we pounded it down their throats like we always do. However, those orcs are tough and strong customers. Took everything we got to move that ball and in the end it we tried a pass to get to the endzone!! US pass!! Well, as you can have guessed, our inexperience with the pass prevented us from scoring, but a quick blitz later and we walked in just as the half time whistle blew.

All the players could talk about during the half time show was that goblin and how it soared. I swear, by the end of the half, they were swearing that ogre threw it from the other endzone right into ours. Took some doing but I managed to get the players under control and ready to try another drive.

Once again, no flash, just in your face bloodbowl. A small opening in their lines and we sneaked through, leaving their team stuck behind a wall of steel.. dwarven steel.

Expecting another flying goblin in the final moments of the game, but not knowing how to stop it had the boys all nervous. Finally standing at our goal line and daring that goblin to get through. Unfortunately, the bad luck that plagued our opposition after that spectacular first TD continued and they were unable to score.

A great game and great fun. Thanks for playing.
