“The Sluggers, weary from their last dust off with the servants of Chaos, were having some time off in the rural town of Wittgendorf, not far from the river Reik. One morning they were awaken by a sudden racket comming from the tavern diningroom. They geared up and went down the stairs to investigate, finding the source of the tumult: a mob of orcs, namely the Struggling Few blood bowl team! A brawl immediately broke out, turning the place into a blood bowl arena!

It was a nasty match! Since the referie - the bar owner - was all with the humans, he allowed all kinds of fouling through out the game; slaming barstools over the head of sprawling orcs; kicking their teeth in; cutting them with broken bottles, you name it!

First, the orcs charged across the room; blackorcs downing linemen left and right! The assault was going well, when suddenly a pass was intercepted by brother Keppler. He handed it to a blitzer, who then passed it to Jacob, who consequently ran for the endzone and scored!

1 - 0 for the Sluggers!

After this, there just wasn't enough time for the orcs to score in the first half. When the ref shouted that it was time for a break, both teams sat down and swilled large amounts of ale.

It was time for the sigmarites to recieve the ball, and this time they executed the good ol' left flanking cage tactic. They got a bit stretched out, and the orcs were close to stopping them cold, but thanks to Sluggo they managed to keep the greenskins at bay. The new recruit, brother Immelmann, sprinted the last few yards and scored the second TD!

2 - 0!

At the next kick-off, the orcs tried breaking through the defense at several points. Annoyed by Brother Kepplers vexatious fouling, the orcs started to avenge themselves, only to get one of their own showed off the porch!

Their Thrower was then blitzed, and the ball was loose. The Sluggers prepared to score, kicking and fouling as they went, only to find that the bar was closing and the game had to be called off!

Non the less, another victory for the Sluggers, who to this day stand undefeated!

The Coach salutes the Struggling Few, who kept on fighting all the way through. For being orcs, they showed great sense of sportsmanship, and to some degree redeemed their race in the eyes of the Sigmarites. Good show!”
