“It always starts so well. An early touchdown gave the rats a sense of overconfidence. But an incredibly lucky block (three die, I choose on defense) knocked out the Rat Ogre until the last play of the game! The rest of the rats were left scrambling and couldn't capitalize on any opportunity.

The apothocary rescued Valtero from a movement limiting injury, only to watch Nickel Nightfall get mauled to death and pushed into the Valley Vikings crowd. His body was never recovered.

The Diablos responded in kind. Striking down a blitzer (their apothecary failed) and in the final play of the game, Valtero, riddled with guilt over his medical attention, struck down another Norsemen dead on the line.

Still it was too late. The Norse has scored two unanswered TDs and won the game. But at what cost!
