#14 The Fog – Broken Ribs (MNG) #14 The Fog – Smashed Knee (NI) #15 The Unlucky Duke – Dead (RIP)
“Jeasus! that was a bloody one! He kicked my rats all over the pitch. Nearly every block broke their Armor and i broke about 8 armorrolls at all! But never the less it was a funny one. there will be REVENGE!”
“Traditionally, the ratmen tend to rip the Sluggers apart as they would a block of cheese, but this time it was the other way around. Maybe because of hatred spawned by earlier defeats, there was no stopping the Slugger in their brutal assault and battery of the poor rodents.
Because of this, the humans managed to score in the first half after snatching the ball from the hapless rats.
At the start of the second half, the skaven once again fielded a full team. They put up staunch resistance, even though suffering continous injuries and K.O:s. Eventually they evened the score as a gutter runner got his filty paws on the ball and swiftly transported it to the endzone.
The second score for the Sluggers was achieved as Eirich Egebnisse was pushed with the ball in hand into the endzone by The Shadow, after an aggressive drive down the right widezone.
Although greatly outnumbered at the next line-up, the rats managed to tie the score, once again thanks to the agile gutter runners. Good show!
Herpin Schitzer did a good job during the first half in defending against any rodents that headed for the endzone. Later he was knocked out, and he never recovered. This might have helped tipping the scale in the rats favour, as there are no other player in the team with the skills required to stop the nimble Gutter Runners.
Sluggo was in a particularly good humour this game, beating his record in casualties per match. He didn't get confused very often as he was obviously enjoying himself.
Lastly, Brother Worster is still struggling with completing that pass. Either he ends up too far from the ball, or he fails to get the throw right. More training at the throwing range for this guy!
