DHtL is becoming quite the Cinderella story, if that is the proper analogy. With loss after loss, most have given up on the dead. But Coach Ryce, perhaps only out of the love of the logo he designed for them, has persisted in playing the team.

It was an even match up against an equally impressive logo, Bruk's Wrath. The Dead had a quick start, knocking out two orcs early, giving them an important advantage in numbers. And, although the orcs would rally, McPatchz would lob a short pass to Bloody Knuckles who would get the first TD.

The second half would be dominated early by the orcs. They surrounded and ground down DHtL and would score about halfway through the 2nd. The drive was a particularly sad one for DHtL, as one of the four remaining team started, Putrid Pete would suffer final death. He has certainly earned a comfortable afterlife.

DHtL, energized by the death of the veteran zombie, would push hard for the win. In the last seconds of the game, McPatchz would run the ball clear across the field, scoring the winning point.

Both McPatchz and McRot would earn skills for the game, gaining an impressive +1 MV and Guard, respectively. The team earned enough for another reroll and the fans are coming back in droves!

This leaves only three starting members, the flesh golem, Meatlocker, the zombie, Vile Vinnie and the wight, The Grinner. Who will be the last one left undying?
