“The evil vampires were fortunate to escape with a tie in this game. The orcs had the ball with not much time left in the game and rumbled downfield easily for a score. Prince Listor had his usual seat on the bench and quite a few knocked-out thralls joined him. The orcs scored with only two turns left to take a 2-1 lead.
Knowing they were close to losing, Lord Zambar took control of the game. He forced Prince Listor to play quarterback and got the thralls to form a cage around him in the orcs backfield. The orcs responded with a desperate play, using their troll to throw a goblin at Prince Listor. The goblin missed, and Prince Listor was able to move forward and throw a pass to Lord Zambar. Lord Zambar was scampered over the goal line with no time remaining to gain the tie.
The orcs should have won this game, it took a lucky play for me to tie it at the end. Also, thanks to Bert for being a good coach with a good attitude, rematch any time.”
