Reign in blood smiled. More skulls to bash. More skulls for his throne...


Brutal one this one. The teams both were worthy of a final. He had developed mummies. (even if I myself prefer break tackle over tackle on the third skill; mobility is key!) Two (!) ST4/mb Wights with a ST4 Ghoul backing up these ladz.

The Brotherhood gave away 2 handicaps; Smelling Salts (pretty good vs my bashers!) and Morley.(1) BUT it fell on Reign in Blood. The most important pillar supporting this very team...

Chaos won the toss, opted to receive and Reign in Blood did not have the urge to spend this drive on the toilet. (yay!) The rain did not bother me. AG5 Chaos Warriors help a fair bit with that. ;-)

Bashing the Undead Fings silly at the end of the first half I scored with a 13 SPP Chaos Warrior. By then he had both Wights out, (one BH and another SI/niggle) both failing to regenerate! The Chaos wall of guard prevented him doing anything sensible really while they kept beating down anything still standing or moving.

When his dp was sent off the game was all but in the bag I thought.

The second half he received and despite Chaos putting him under a rather indecent amount of pressure he could score with his st4 ghoul. (I think I need more tacklers!)

Having 5 turns to score the winning td I was not worried.

The remainder of that second half the Brotherhood tried what they did the first half but this time Reign in Blood was having serious cramps and made some weird gurlging noises in the toilet so we allowed him to miss that drive.

He was sorely missed.

In the end a ghoul made a series of INCREDIBLE dodges and could reach my rookie beast with 2 gfi, smacking him down and KO with an 1D blitz.

My grinning (AG4) dp caught the ball.

I opted to NOT score.

He had no wights left, one mummy, no dp and no RR.

I REALLY wanted some spp on a rookie.

Perhaps slightly overconfident but not without reason really.

And it paid off.
