Lord Zambar made his triumphant return in this game after missing last game due to his niggling injury. His presence was felt early in this game, as he was able to score early in the first half. Later in the first half the evil vampires were able to steal the ball and get it to Duke Thorn. After making some lucky dodges he was able to throw a long pass to Zambar for a second score making the game 2-0.

The second half didn't go as well as the first for the vampires. The orcs hit hard and put more than a few vampires into the KO box. The vampires were powerless to stop the marauding orcs and play ended with the score 2-1.

Overall it was an interesting game against a good coach. The successful long pass in the first half was the difference as otherwise the match was even, the vampires dominating the first half and the orcs dominating the second. Rematch any time.

Bob: Well how do you think the game went today, Jim?

Jim: Honestly Bob, I am very surprised that it ended up this close.

Bob: Oh? How So?

Jim: Well look at it, the first half saw the Vampires streak away to a 2-0 lead. The Orcs were powerless to stop them, nothing they did seemed to work, and the Vampires just had everything in their favour. The Orc Coach Ethereal Wolf told me at half-time that his team performance for the first half was terrible. . He went for it all in the first half, lining up the Throw-Team-Mate play, only Skabz must not have been in on it and failed to realise it was >him< who had to throw the team-mate! After losing the Goblin Snotz to a Niggle meant the Passing game was simply out of the question for the rest of the game.

Bob: Yes, you're right, Ansalon4 was happy with his team's overall performance for the first half, everything went right for him.

Jim: Exactly. In the second Ethereal told me he wanted his team to lift their game, they are Orcs, that's what they do. He wanted more intensity out there on the field, and a lot more aggression.

Bob: They certainly showed that in the second half, almost filling the KO box and forcing the Vampires into difficult situations when the Blood Lust hit.

Jim: Indeed. They played a lot better, hit a lot harder, and generally proved to their coach that the Clan certainly has talent when down in numbers. Ethereal was not sorry to lost to Ansalon as he is a great coach, and the next time these two teams meet I'm sure it will be a great time.

Bob: That's it. Until next time this is Bob and Jim, signing off!
