#10 Suki Icestorm – Dead (RIP)
That was one exciting game! The high flying, daredevil Diablos really got the most out of both their offensive and defensive blocks and blitzes. They managed to disrupt the Myrmidions play at almost every turn.

In the first half a beautiful block by Xiya Rotseeker opened up for thrower Dyrad Demonarcher, who rushed forward and threw a lovely pass to blitzer Rilo Darkfang. The blitzer finished of this nice move by scoring his first ever TD... in his 13th game(!)

They then held out for the rest of the half leaving the score 1-0.

2nd half and the Myrmindions were on offense and got seriously bogged down in midfield. The Diablos hounded the ballcarrier at every turn and then suddenly the ball bounced free! Rilo Darkfang leaped away from his defender picked up the ball right under the nose of Araxathos, dodged out of the melee and spotted team captain Dusklock standing clear upfield. Rilo power up the pitch and launched a terrific pass that found its mark. Eboxo caught it with ease and ran in for a beautiful counter attack TD.

The rest of the game the Diablos keeped playing like deamons on defense, slowing the Myrmidions down to a crawl.

Rilo Darkfang was praised by the gathered press after the game and coach Mr Foulscumm had this to say about the blitzers performance: "That was the best game I've ever seen him play... hell, it might even be the best any of the Diablos have played!"... "Except for Eboxo of course" Mr Foulscumm was quick to add.
And it's true, Darkfangs performance tied him with Dusklock for the best game SPP score in Diablos history!

----

To be honest there was a lot of luck in this game (and a lot of bad luck for gkornecki). Hope you get over it and maybe we'll play a re-match some day.

Mr Foulscumm

Match was a bit rediculous due to the insane amount of good luck the dark elves
had...one die blocks always managed to get the job done at critical times and the ball would often just be dumped right into the hands of some nearby elf.
All in all the game wasnt bad...cept for the fact that the DE were particularly immune to taking damage. Count the blocks he gave up to me. I challenge anyone to say that giving up more than 5 blocks a turn (2 dicers 95 percent of them) and some of those paired in with mighty blow is a good strategy.
