“The Greenfield Crush took to the pitch to face a brood of Chaos Dwarves. But they came out of the match worse earning only 5 points for the Blitz Invitational.
The Crush got the ball first and made a well formed cage around lineorc Ojalan which was only possible due to the mis-coaching (misclick) of coach McCloud and his troll dodged into two tackle zones and knocked himself out on their first move. This gave the Crush the decided edge as the ball was handed off to a frontlinner in the cage, new blitzer Mabungle, who scored. 1 - 0 Greenfield Crush
However, Flagon of Justice was just too good and easily scored back before halftime. 1 - 1
Even with one of their Bull Centaurs out, the Chaos Dwarves managed to score again, hitting the Crush hard and then stalling. In one turn they scored four knock outs. With Ponky, a side stepping goblin, already having fractured his arm, and with Ogrand, a captain guarding blitzer, still unconsious, the Crush had only a handful of players left to stop the touchdown; by far not enough. 2 - 1 Flagon of Justice
The ball was too deep to pull a throw team mate play with troll Zudd and catching goblin Jurtive. thus the game ended 2 - 1 and the Crush got 40k in winnings.
Coach Oblitzamangr bought new talent Blombore, a Black Orc Blocker, after the game. He said, "He has been following us for a while and asking for a chance, and the team obviously needs more hitting power. We didn't even manage to inflict a single casualty this game! So of course I hired him. Right after the game."
He also told us, "I want to thank coach McCloud for the game and wish him luck with his team. Things could have been a lot worse, but they turned out allright, and for that, I am thankful; meaning, he could have fouled and bashed me to hell even more, but decided not to. He is a good coach and I definately want a re-match."
After that, he ran off to the center of the pitch and made a sacrifice to Nuffle. The Orcs joined in and beckoned the Chaos Dwarves to join too, in an act of sportsmanship, but the Dwarves refused and decided to make a sacrifice to Hashut instead. So with two bloody sacrifices after the game, the fans went home happy...
The Crush is just one game away from the Blitz Invitational second round Championships. Howevr, they are so far behind in fourth place that they are most likely to end up in the Crumbs match, the lowest ranked game.”
