“Episode 21 - GLTII Qualifier - Final


Here it is... due to incredible luck and great casualties we made it to the finals. And there they were, the evillest things in bloodbowl... dworves.

I hate dworves, the master hate dworves, even the zombies who have no brains or feelings hate dworves. Our favourite wolves they get angry just by looking at them.
But somethings just have to be done, and lucky for me they were chaos dworves so i still would have some hobos to slay.

What started out as a stupid laugh, turned out to be a small succes. The wistle sounds and the final was on. CD receive the ball.
Our heroes tried to do damadge, they dont like the ball anyway... with no succes.
In the first drive we got knocked out, and hurt terribly. Fouling didnt work, and I trowed really poor dice.
CD score in one of there last turn, after stalling. Up to the second half.

Suddenly luck turned, the onslaught was terrible. And when I fouled a centaur the apo didnt even dare go up the field to help him out.
Altough i beleve the rolls on both sides werent supperior to each other at that stadium, the "important" stuff just didnt work with the dworves.
High KO's , hight casualties = not much to put on the field in overtime.

In overtime the dwarves were outnumbered, but I just couldnt score... or dare too. I was so afraid the ball carier would go down that i just tried to knock everyone away from him. SF stopped me terribly.
The dworves were having a tough time too. Low on guys they had to make lots of 1 d blocks, and dodges.
Dwarves dont dodge or block... altough i still beleve ag 2 dodged pretty good this game (even tough they were secured by SF, they really made a lot of dodges work).

It ended with 1-1... I guess Purple played a lot better then our heroes... normally they should have had enough advatages to score, but they just lacked the guts.
A coin toss decided the winner, but I dont guess our team deserved it. I would have liked another overtime... or even a rematch with the same teams a better sollution.
We won tough... pitty.

Sad story of Chaos dwarves dodging there hearts out, and lucky necros without guts. Not much excitment here.

"I faced a legendary coach, with a pimped up League rat team, a natural one turner, another needing only 1 step and a big deep roster.

I had no real plan, and very little tackle even. My poor elves looked like facing a game of chasing rat tails and trying to keep the scores close to even.

But when he joined he wrote:

'Well as there's no way you can stop me scoring, I guess it's just down to who scores more.'

But i had a few loners. And they have boots. I swear until he said that, I wasn't going to. But i did. I kicked that team to bugger and back, SI's to 2 rats, including the natural one turner. Won 2-0.

Some games, and some guys, demand fouling."
