#7 Quech – Smashed Knee (NI)
The Iron Netters took the pitch for the first time against a very skilled Fairy side, or at least their Treemen. With each Treeman having at least Block and tackle, the Netter knew they would have to be really good to not get injured.

The Weak Little Fairies got the ball to start and formed a cage around their best player, Brownie Daniel. But then Brownie Josh couldn't resist the temptation of a foul but was so egregious in his effort, he was sent off the pitch by the referee. This left the Fairies down a man as the Netters plugged up all the holes in the front line. The Treemen were not doing a good job opening that line up as they were totally unable to remove Herders from the pitch. Things started to shake up as Squig Hopper and co-captain Feen riding Grasha failed a go for it trying to put pressure on the ballcarrier. Grasha fell hard to the ground with Feen underneath, squashing him. Feen's armor was sharp enough that the protruding points pierced Grasha's vital organs, killing him too. But luckily, the apothecary saved them both. The next turn, a failed throw team-mate attempt popped the ball loose as Netters flodded the area. Squig Hopper Gortz riding Thrasha seriously injured a Brownie and Feen and Grasha got up and pushed a Pixie into the ball, causing it to slip and slide all ove the huge brawl. It came out on the other side where Herder kadel failed to pick it up.

Leprechaun Woohooo failed a dodge holding the ball, and another failed pickup led to Ovac finally blitzing and getting the ball. He ran down the pitch with both Hoppers to guard him, then ran it in for a score. 1 - 0 Iron Netters

In the second half, the Netters recieved the ball and formed a cage around Ovac. The cage was too powerful as it bursted down the sideline, away from the lumbering Treemen. Six players guarded Ovac inside. As they got furthur downfield, the Weak Little Fairies tried a throw team-mate play to get someone on the ballcarrier. Leprechaun Suebre II made it there, but was stunned on the landing. Coupled with a failed go for it which resulted in a knock out, the Netters basically walked right up to the end zone, but didn't cross the line in fear of go for it failures. So, as a Treeman got the first real casualty of the night, the smaller players on the Weak Little Fairies dodged right into the cage and almost stopped the touchdown. However, with a few blocks, Ovac blitzed his way into the endzone a second time. 2 - 0 Iron Netters

With four turns remaining, all three Treemen scored casualties on their blocks on the LoS. Quech recieved a pinched nerve while the others were only badly hurt. However, even a man down, the Netters were able to keep the Weak Little Fairies out of the endzone, thus ending the game 2 - 0.

Coach Oblitzamanger said this after the game. "I want to thank coach Dammo for the match. He was a good sport and a good coach. I enjoyed the match very much."

"The game was a farce though. The Treemen failed to do anything worse than knock out the Herders until it was too late. Most of the Fairies' hits were soft today as the Netters came very well out of so many knockdowns. That was basically the key. The Treemen didn't do their job, so the rest of the Fairies couldn't do theirs. My team however did amazing. I am surprised that the luck meter says I only succeeded half of my rolls, as the team did what they had to do today."

"As for their future, they definately have one playing Blood Bowl for me. But Quech maybe does not. I'm going to keep him for now since he is on;y adding 4 to my TR, but I will soon retire him as I get more money. Gortz and Thrasha got the MVP too, soI taught them how to dodge better. Ovac, who did all the scoring today, learned Diving Tackle to make sure others can't get away from him without tasting the turf. The team looks good and I will keep them around for a little while at least."

After that, he made a sacrifice to Nuffle righ there on the pitch. It was a grand sacrifice, if not the most gory coach Oblitzamanger had ever done so far. But it was well called for. A bloody sacrifice for such a bloody 'Leeg'.
