#5 Eagle-eye – Dead (RIP)
“Wow, what can I say?
The match started as an applaing rape - turn one, Eagle-eye killed on a block, apc'ed, then Jackobus sent off on his first foul (6).
Turn 2, roll snakes to fail miserably to dodge out of a TZ...
Turn 3, watch as Eagle-eye is killed (again) by another block. Luck at 9%.
Turn 4, the Zons score.
Then things turn around... the Delfs score (SWWOBG) to make it 1-1 at the half.
Second half was a weird and amzing thing to behold.
9 Delfs lined up to receive, get pinned back, look doomed. They roll snakes for the ball carrier to fall and drop it. Things look bad... "We're in a tight spot!" Then evil skulls stop the Zons.before SWWOBG (#12) escaped, caught a long pass, and scored in turn 2. Woot. 2-1. but no RRs left for the Delfs.
The zons receive, move menacingly downfield, battering Delfs left right and centre, and score in turn 4. 2-2. "Elfbowl", cries the Zons' coach as they run the ball in.
The Delfs receive in T5, move up, but get pinned in with SWWOBG haling the ball.
T6, miracle play time: Delf Lineman blitzes free deep in the Zon's half. SWOBG, who has survived numerous blocks with her blodge and SS, sneaks out, runs, didges, throws long pass.......woosh, into the waiting arms of Illan - TD!!!!!!!!!!
T7, Zons receive, but push blocks in T8 leave no catchers unobstructed, and while their T8 pass is good, an elf hand stops the catch, and the game ends...
3-2.

I had 8 block dice to try and get a POW on that thrice cursed witch elf but couldn't get the ball loose and in the end it cost me... that and not being able to roll a POW in the last turn and not getting a 4+ with a re-roll catch... BAH! But gg to pythrr he hung in there down several elves most of the game and pulled off some amazing scores to win it and my inability to beat high agility teams continues.
...but I got me some Tackle now... and the ladies are all healthy for next game... no CAS always a good thing...”
