There was not much talk in the locker room before the game. Most of the players were praying to their gods for help. Coach Oblitzamanger was praying for his life, for he knew if the team didn't do well today, he would have hell to pay...

But with four Chaos Gods watching over them, how could they lose?

The four captains lost the coin toss and were forced to kick off the ball. The three followers of Khorne, Orgot Crushpain, Helgrot Hornjab, and Phormat Wadskin, lined up on the Line of Scrimage ready to bash their opponent's heads' in.

However, it was them who got the worst of the blocks as two went prone and captain Orgot fell so hard he was stunned for a moment. Since it was obvious at that point which side Nurgle was on, and with Khorne's warriors out of the way, the rest of the team and their other two dieties were left defenseless.

The Rotters formed a loose cage as they sprinted to one of the sidelines. The closest team captain, Nurgle follower Linger Grrealment, called out the play. He beckoned Orgot to get up and cover some opposing Beastmen as he guarded a corner of the cage. He then signalled Mashelk Strongrip to slam the ballcarrier with his horns. As Mashelk came down on the unfortunate holder, he was knocked senselss backwards and dropped the ball into the crowd. They threw it right over his head. This was a turning point for Nurgle. His stout follower and hand-picked player Linger had just called an amazing play. And it was obvious his other team would not be of much use. Also, not wanting the disdain of the other three Gods, he turned his favor for the Pros. And with all three of Khorne's Beastmen getting back up, the four dieties proved to be unstoppable.

Across the pitch, Phormat had gotten up and was struggling with Rotter power in a battle of life and death. He was joined by Helgrot, who had also gotten up from his initial fall, and together, as Helgrot ducked behind power's legs and Phormat pushed him on top of Helgrot like a tabletop, they made power come down with a hard fall that badly hurt his back so much that he could not regenerate. Thus Phormat earned the first SPPs for the team, and their first casualty. This freed Helgrot to help recover the ball. He just grinned as he raced to the other side of the pitch.

There was no rest for anyone, even since one of the strongest opposing players was gone. Phormat, joined by Selex Inboil, had their hands full as the Beast and a helping Beastman marked them. However, a clever play conducted by one of the captains, Orgot, allowed for Nearto Surefire to pick up the ball and race towards the endzone. But he was not safe as Beastman high level blitzed him with his horns. As Nearto was rushing forward, high level lowered his head right into his gut, blowing him back and bursting the ball free, backwards with his momentum.

Things looked bleak then as the game turned into a mid-pitch brawl. Not only were there more players in the area for the Rotters, but they were also stronger. The fatal move was when the Beast stepped right next to the ball, almost making his tackle zone permament as it would prove very difficult to knock that Beast down. The battle for the ball raged on as the Pros tried to keep at least two tackle zones on the ball. They kept on blitzing closer to the brawl and taking out key players from their spots besides the ball. Eventually, Helgrot was able to blitz the Beast. He hit low and hard and then jerked up, snapping the Beast's head back. Although it didn't do any serious damage, it did knock the Beast out and away from the pitch.

With no more tackle zones on the ball, Phormat picked it up and ran away with it down the pitch, hoping to score on the last turn. However, two opposing Beastmen came from behind to try and stop Phormat. But, with all four Chaos Gods watching closely, they "helped" him dodge out of their way to score as the ref blew the whistle. Halftime: 1 - 0 Doom Professionals.

The talk at halftime was breif as the players once again prayed to their dieties for thanks and help for the next half to come. The Gods of Chaos heard them and granted them another good half. However, Mashelk, who had been knocked out by the crowd, didn't wake up as his God, Tzeentch, made sure he rested up his strength.

The Rotters put almost all their players on the Line of Scrimage and the Pros had to also in response. They broke up the line pretty well as Phormat got the ball from a touchback. But, Selex was knocked out and an opposing Beastman was pressuring the backfield. So, a "lucky" hit from captain and Tzeentch worshipper Olmstead stunned the threat. Then, there was more "luck" as Orgot stunned another key threat and with a smashing uppercut, Slaanesh worshipper Amsturgth Gutmusher broke the jaw of Beastman red alert. However, when Phormat tried to pass the ball for his 6th SPP to get a new skill, Olmstead dropped the ball, thus leaving the entire game at large.

As many of the Pros went down, Slaanesh worshipper Vanith Dartlett recieved a fractured leg from fallout, who had made a dirty chop-block on his shin. But Slaanesh gifted the apothecary who rushed onto the pitch the powers to prevent the injury, saving poor Vanith. But the pressure continued as the Rotters got as many Beastmen near the ball as possible. Doing the best they could to protect the ball, the Pros knocked out three opponents including the second Rotter, but it wasn't enough to prevent Beastman high level from snatching the ball away from two Pros and then dodging out of the way towards a sure touchdown.

But the Gods of Chaos didn't give up on their team and loyal worshippers. Olmstead, who dropped the ball in the first place, made up for his mistake by blitzing high level and stunning him with a jab to the back. He covered the ball as Hormesh cleared another Beastman off the pitch into the crowd. He then ran upfield, ready to get the ball for a touchdown. Olmstead then picked up the ball and ran downfield too, after Hormesh. With only 5 players left on the pitch for the Rotters, two of them prone, they had no chance of catching up. Hormesh "luckily" grabbed the ball from Olmstead just in time to score the second touchdown. 2 - 0 Doom Professionals.

After the game, the team was enthused. The Gods were pleased with them and Coach Oblitzamanger, especially since they recruited more fans to the ways of Chaos. Since Amsturgth was awarded the MVP, his patron God, Slaanesh, taught him how to block better in the name of Chaos.

The team was cheered off the pitch like champions and Coach Oblitzamanger felt at home again. He knew that if he kept this up, he would repay his debt and maybe even gain the favor of the Chaos Gods...
