“At first it looked to be an even match, but I saw that probably wasn't going to be the case after the Troll and a Beastman had +ST. Eeek.

The first few turns of the 1st half was pretty even until Gorhoof picked up the ball and ran through his lane that his team made for him. I was getting some really bad rolls and half of my team was stunned on the ground. My Minotaur moved ONE TIME the entire half...nothing but wild animal rolls for the rest of the half. Around turn 6 one Beastman was SI and dropped 1 ST, so at this point I basically just kept all of my guys on the ground and just let Gorhoof score without any problems. I was fed up with my bad rolls and the half ended 0-1.

2nd half I got a couple of key blocks on the line and planned on running my warrior outside to blitz one of the defenders, then running like hell to the endzone. However, I spent 3 turns just trying to pick the ball up, and at this point I was about to just give up, but I finally managed to get a couple of good rolls and was able to push back the defenders a little bit (since my Minotaur actually MOVED). I managed to take it about halfway to the goalline.

We were fighting over the ball and fumbling it for a few turns until I finally picked up the ball on turn 7 with Jeffery, and made a run for the endzone. The defense had 1 chance of stopping me with a beastman that was prone. He stood up, did the blitz move, rolled a 4 to dodge out of a tackle zone, and did a GFI to blitz me. However he fell down while GFI, finally a break for me, and it was an easy TD on turn 8.

Overall it looked like it was going to be a really frustrating game for me, but I managed to get some good rolls near the middle of round 2. No FF lost, only 1 SI, and a tie game. It's a win in my book!”
