“Nary was there a game with such an epic finish!

The final four turns or so of the second half saw both teams with a chance to score the winning td every turn, only to fail an easy dodge or pick up. On the 8th turn of the rats, however, they pulled their act together and scored an end to end td! Demoralized by being behind for the first time ever in a match, the greedy little green kids of daycare took to squabbling amongst themselves. It was then, that an unprecedented event took place. Mrs. Krabappel, one of the two trolls ostensibly responsible for the unruly bunch, gave a speech the type of which the gobbos had never heard before. She took full responsibility for the woeful state of the passing (of goblins of course) game, which had seen only one irrelevant successful landing, despite numerous attempts, and had already seen the death of poor little Joey due to Mrs. Krabappel herself (she forgot her pregame snack). Anyways to make a long story short, Mrs. Krabappel bellowed at the rat kicker about all the homework she would give him, causing the annoyed rat to kick the ball out of bounds. Mrs. Krabappel designated the ball to ignorant new recruit Timmy (he had been on the bench not paying attention at the time of Joey's demise), and overcoming her appetite she sent him soaring towards the rat lines, with a reroll he achieved a successful landing and nudged a gutter runner aside to allow himself a path to the endzone that included only one dodge and two gfi's. The crowd went wild!

Timmy was awarded the MVP quite appropriately, and in recognition of his stunning feat learned +1 ag.

There was a lot more than that which happened in this game, but that is the Daycare perspective. bmoorman13 was an excellent opponent, and we had a jolly time, which is the primary goal of any game of bbowl!
