"That coach is a real git!" cried Khorne. "He's playing a team of eight Ogres! How are we supposed to win when we can't knock them down!?!"

"Calm yourself, Khorne," said Tzeentch. "We'll just have to help them knock over those brutes ourselves. Besides, which diety will be angry if a few Ogres hit the turf?"

"Let's go then!" yelled Nurgle as the four Gods of Chaos rode down to the game.

________________________________________________________

"Oh shit," murmered Coach Oblitzamanger. The Sniky, Ogre in the center of the line, had just called for his team to re-position themselves, and they lined up on the Line of Scrimage, barring down the Pro's necks.

The two Beastmen in the dugout, Hormesh Tearmouth, captain of the Slaanesh sect, and Olmstead Everchange, captain of the Tzeentch sect, overheard him. "Coach," grunted Olmstead, "Why don't you just put us in there?"

"I told you," replied Coach Oblitzamanger, "I want you guys to sit out until the right time. Then, they will be so off guard that you will walk all over them!" But this was an excuse. He knew that the captains were not performing up to their best, and he wanted to make sure they didn't cause a liability on the pitch.

Nearto Surefire, Tzeentch worshipper and the lone player in the backfield, picked up the ball as the others futily fought against the Ogres on the front line. Even Ogre Dur'lunk Evileye, follower of Slaanesh, was unable to stan up to the menacing brutes. That was when Ogre Jack smashed the only blocker, Beastman Amturgth Gutmusher, into the dugout. Amsturgth was so badly hurt and bloody, that he couldn't come back into the game, a huge let-down the the Pros. Then, Ogre Singular Mind ran in front of Nearto, blocking his way. Things looked very grim.

________________________________________________________

"Think we've scared Oblitzamanger enough now?" said Slaansesh, giggling to himself.

"Yeah, that'll teach him to find a game with a bunch of Ogres from now on," said Khorne. "Now, let us help the Pros win this match!"

"Time to unleash the butterflies!" said Tzeentch.

________________________________________________________

Coach Oblitzamanger closed his eyes. When he opened them, Nearto had dodged away from Singular Mind and the ball was in the air right to Nurgle follower, Selex Inboil, who had somehow gotten past the front line into the Ogre's backfield. However, he dropped the ball, all part of the Chaos Gods' plans, and the Ogres scrambled backwards to recover it. Ogre Snugle With me blitzed back and knocked down Selex as Ogre Joe badly hurt Khorne follower Helgrot Hornjab. However, Khorne did not let his warrior go down in vain as Helgrot managed to take the mighty Ogre down with him.

Both Ogre Singular Mind and Sniky were distracted by butterflies made of light which were sent by Tzeentch. That allowed Dur'lunk to blitz forward and knock back Snugle With me as Nurgle captain Linger Grrealment failed to pick the ball up. More butterflies distracted Joe as the pitch began to glow with the light produced by Tzeentch's creations.

However, the butterflies didn't stop Ogre Hug Me Hard until he had knocked down Linger, as they prevented him from picking up the ball afterwards. Then, gifted with mighty power from Khorne at that moment, Lord Scorsh blocked the Ogre Hunk and killed the brute in an amazing feat of strength. However, the medics arrived on the pitch just in time to save his life. Dazed, Hunk then failed to stand up as the Beastmen screened the other Ogres from focus of the play.

Hug Me Hard was able to knock down Selex Inboil and pick up the ball, but he tripped on his own feet when he went for that extra few yards, confused by the butterflies of light surrounding his legs. Snugle With me also was distracted and allowed Linger to help Tzeentch follower Mashelk Strongrip grab the ball and run away. He ran it in for a touchdown the next turn. 1 - 0 Doom Professionals.

Dur'lunk was pumped at seeing his brethren being beaten (for he hates them all) and he put up a good show at staying on his feet the next drive. And despite their best efforts, the Ogres were unable to pick up the ball before the time ran out. Halftime: 1 - 0 Doom Professionals.

The first block of the second half saw Ogre Jack smashing the knee of Dur'lunk. Unwilling to let his strongest player be seriously inured, Coach Oblitzamanger sent the apothecary to heal up the injury, which he did fine. Unhappy with what was going on, Tzeentch sent a swarm of butterflies into the cage that the Ogres had formed around Hug Me Hard, who had gotten the ball. Then, to replace the swarm of light, came four Beastmen to gnab the ball. But Slaanesh follower Vanith Dartlett was unable to stay on his feet as he took down Hug Me Hard. Linger, very surprised, caught the ball, only to have it knocked away from him the next turn. It bounced right into the middle of the mid-pitch brawl, which complicated the Ogre's chances of tying the game.

Mashelk blitzed Hunk, who had gotten the ball again, and they both went flat. An early turnover from Leaping drone, who was taken down by Nearto Surefire, allowed the Pros to mount the pressure. Then, once again Leaping Drone was taken down by Nearto, but this time, Nearto had caught the Ogre by the jaw and smashed it wide open, forcing him to miss the next match. Vanith Dartlett, in a daring move, was tripped up dodging and caused another turnover. But the Ogres were not having any luck blocking either as they had then had five successive turns ended by both down results. Dur'lunk took the beating of his life for the team as Lord Scorsh knocked down Jack, bouncing the ball our of reach of the Ogres. Thus, the game ended without further injuries: 1 - 0 Doom Professionals.

The team was once again cheered off the pitch and the Gods of Chaos reveled in glory. Mashelk and Selex learned how to block better, and the team prepared for it's next fight with excitement.
